Publications

Below are a few publications I have prepared content for and co-ordinated the production of:

Victoria Graduate School of Business brochure

Victoria University

The Victoria Graduate School of Business (VGSB) delivers all VU postgraduate business coursework degrees. This 2016 refresh of the 2014 VGSB brochure involved reviewing content and rewriting to reflect new courses, information and key selling points. I coordinated the production of the brochure, preparing content, sourcing imagery and testimonials, and working with an external designer on the final product. It is the primary piece of marketing collateral for one of VU's most distinguished postgraduate areas.

Victoria University 2017 Postgraduate Course Guide

Victoria University

This year, I coordinated the production of VU's 2017 Postgraduate Course Guide. I reviewed the 2016 publication, revised and wrote content, sourced images and testimonials, and worked with an external designer on the final product. The guide is used by prospective students and career advisers to find out about VU's postgraduate courses, as well as university services and facilities.

Centenary Chat

Victoria University

From April - September 2016 I produced Centenary Chat, a monthly electronic newsletter promoting news and events related to VU's Centenary year. Distributed to external and internal stakeholders, the newsletter was a key tool in maintaining awareness and interest in the University's Centenary program during 2016.

VU News

Victoria University

VU News is a monthly newsletter produced for teachers and career practitioners at high schools, particularly those in Melbourne's west. From June 2015 to April 2016 I prepared content and coordinated the publication and distribution for each edition, working with internal stakeholders and an external designer. All editions of the newsletter are available on the VU website.

Victoria University 2017 discipline guides

I managed production of VU's 2017 business, education and health and biomedicine discipline guides. Working with colleagues to ensure consistency across all discipline guides, I reviewed existing content and wrote new information to ensure they met the needs of prospective students.

Victoria University 2016 Undergraduate Course Guide

Victoria University

In 2015, I coordinated the production of VU's 2016 Undergraduate Course Guide. This involved reviewing the previous year's publication, writing new content, sourcing images and testimonials, and working with an external designer. It was used throughout 2015 at schools across Victoria to promote the University, as well as at Open Day and other events, and online.

Researchers 2013

National Heart Foundation

I coordinated the production of the Heart Foundation's annual Researchers for two years. This guide summarises the approximately 200 cardiovascular research projects funded by the Heart Foundation and provides background and context for the role of the Research Program. One of its main functions is to encourage potential donors, so it was crucial that project summaries were easy to understand.

Native Splendour

Manningham City Council

At Manningham City Council I coordinated the publication of Native Splendour (2nd edition), an indigenous planting guide for the local area. Working with conservation officers and an external designer, I reviewed the first edition, made significant updates and ensured the booklet was an easy-to-use publication. The guide contains all the information green thumbs were after, as well as engaging those less inclined to get into the garden.
